About Me

Mike Michaels (pen) is a born and raised Hoosier who “followed the wrong God home”. He worked as an engineer in various capacities for two Fortune 100 companies for over thirty years. At his best he was a bogey golfer and poor guitar player. He is the husband of thirty-six years to a Utah-born and raised Mormon girl who bitches about the slightest change in temperature despite being descended from pioneers who literally walked across the Great Plains. Together, Hoosier Boy and Mormon Girl raised four well-adjusted children, a Golden Retriever (Buddy), and a Bernese Mountain Dog (Orson). They reside on a dead-end street on the edge of the woodlands near the prairie.
